Side Handle Liquid Nitrogen Container

In cryogenic processing of tissue, cell, or material samples, rapidly and steadily adding liquid nitrogen to the grinding jar or sample is a critical step for achieving effective freezing.
This series is a side-handle liquid nitrogen container specifically designed for this scenario. Its core mission is to enable laboratory personnel to safely, precisely, and controllably provide a transient -196°C cryogenic environment for samples during grinding operations, through the side-handle pouring design.

1. One-handed Precision Control for Enhanced Efficiency:
The side grip design aligns the container’s center of gravity with the arm’s movement axis, allowing the operator to hold the container steadily with one hand and precisely control the pouring angle and flow rate, while the other hand can simultaneously handle sample fixation or other operations, optimizing the grinding workflow.
2. Stable Pouring to Prevent Splashing:
The optimized mechanical structure ensures that when adding liquid nitrogen to small grinding jars or sample tubes, the liquid flow remains smooth and controllable, effectively reducing the risk of liquid nitrogen splashing caused by unstable pouring, thereby ensuring operator safety.
3. More Comfortable and Safer Operating Posture:
The natural side grip posture avoids excessive wrist bending, reducing fatigue during prolonged repetitive operations. Additionally, the hand stays away from directly above the container opening, where low-temperature-induced brittle vapor mist may form.

Usage Scenarios and Safety Guidelines for Liquid Nitrogen Pouring Container

Please ensure this product is used in appropriate scenarios and in a standardized manner.

Dedicated Application Scenarios

1. Cryogenic Grinding of Tissue Samples: Used for tissue homogenization prior to RNA, protein, and metabolite extraction.
2. Grinding of Cell Spheroids or Bacterial Pellets: To break down tough cell clumps.
3. Sample Pretreatment in Materials Science: Cryogenic pulverization of temperature-sensitive materials.

Key Safety Points for Operation

1. Must wear anti-freezing gloves, safety goggles, and a laboratory coat during operation.
2. Only perform liquid nitrogen addition in a well-ventilated area.
3. Ensure the receiving container is stable and can withstand dramatic temperature changes.
4. After use, place the container in a safe position.
5. Do not lay the container horizontally or turn it upside down. The side handle only supports upright pouring.
